Hiya! I hope you enjoy my recipe for these delicious cheesecake-marbled brownies!
Ingredients:
Brownie batter
– 2/3 cup plain flour
– 250 grams unsalted butter
– 1/2 cup chocolate
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
– pinch of salt
Cheesecake batter
– 250g cream cheese
– 1/3 cup sugar
– 1 egg yolk
– 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Plus: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
To make the brownie batter, melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and plain flour until well-combined. Place the brownie mixture into a greased baking pan.
To make the cheesecake batter, whisk the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla extract until smooth. Swirl the cheesecake mixture into the brownie batter with a knife.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over cheesecake/brownie batter.
Bake brownies at 180°C for about 30-35 minutes. Leave the brownies to cool, or place them in the fridge before slicing.
